Most cars and motorcycles have separate starters and alternators. Not your new Golden Wing. We combined the starter and alternator into a lightweight and compact component. Gold Wing DCT models provide a unique low-speed reverse gear using engine power, while the Gold Wing Tour with a manual transmission provides a unique electric reverse gear. Honda Optional Torque Control (HSTC)
On our Gold Wing Tour models, Honda Optional Torque Control (HSTC) continuously monitors the rear wheel speed of your bike and immediately adjusts the torque. This is a great feature when riding in rain, sand, gravel roads, wet leaves, or any other surface conditions that may affect traction.

All 2021 Gold Wing models are equipped with a complete LED lighting kit. The headlights, taillights and every instrument are LED lights. LEDs not only have a longer lifespan, but are also lighter in weight and have a lower operating temperature.
Even Gold Wing's paint is high-tech, using BASF's nanotechnology. The darkness looks darker, and the lights look brighter. The paint itself has a luxurious wet appearance. The Gold Wing DCT model launched a new matte eggplant blue this year. Gold Wing Tour and Tour DCT are available in two colors (super blue metallic and metallic black). You will notice some information about the Gold Wing windshield. First of all, it is electrically controlled and can move up and down within the 4.9 inches of the Gold Wing Tour (Gold Wing is 4.1 inches) and change the angle when it is raised and lowered. Have you ever needed to scroll through some abstract menus to access functions on an electronic device? You will find many simple, dedicated switches and controls on the handlebars of Gold Wing. They are placed in an ergonomic way to provide you with simple and intuitive control input and eliminate frustration. There is also a centralized control knob similar to a modern car in the console.
This is another improvement to our Gold Wing Tour model in 2021. The seat has a new suede-like covering. Riders on every Gold Wing model can enjoy an optional backrest, and on our Gold Wing models without luggage, there is an optional passenger backrest.
We changed the angle of the passenger backrest on the Tour model (from 17 degrees to 24.5 degrees), increased its height, and added more cushions. It has always been a great seat, but now it is like your favorite easy chair at home!

Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
