Who is ready for a road trip? Put the kids in the car and get on the road, but don't take too long, because your next family destination is here.

The Dinosaur Plaza in Montville Natural Arts Village, Connecticut, provides activities for children who love dinosaurs in your life far beyond your average. Believe it or not, it is actually home to the largest splash pad in New England, which includes more than 30 dinosaur-themed water features. Children (and adults) can experience their favorite dinosaurs in a new way, while avoiding the spitting stegosaurus in the park, duel with Tyrannosaurus and Velociprator head water cannons, and cool off under the dinosaur "rib" waterfall. There is even a "flying" toothless pterosaur, which is triggered by the ground sensor of the entire splash pad!

But wait, there is more! Dinosaur Place is more than just a great splash pad. From the A "MAZE" asaurus maze and T-Rex Tower with two enclosed fun stories that bring new adventures every turn, to Monty's, a "dinosaur-sized" playground, and the park’s dinosaur trails and caves, With more than 40 life-size dinosaurs, The Dinosaur Place always has something new to explore.

The park is open daily from 10 am to 6 pm, and most attractions are also open at these times, but the Splash Pad and Tyrannosaurus Rex Tower are open daily from 10:30 am to 5 pm. However, in terms of admission, Dinosaur Plaza may be one of the few places where you've seen children's admission fees higher than adults. A day pass for children is US$31.99, adults and toddlers are US$27.99, and senior citizens are US$25.99. Admission is free for tykes who love dinosaurs under 2 years old.
